“I've said it before. I tell you what, the uh the bakery department at these at these grocery stores, >> they really stepped up. >> They really have. >> They really have. >> Next time you go in there, you get a dessert, stop at the [ __ ] bakery and get whatever they got going on that day.”

“How do you feel about that? >> I think it's cool. Yeah. You know what I mean? >> I think it should be easier than the whole app thing. It should just like ring it up. I can tap my card and get the [ __ ] I don't like logging in.”

He believes there is a placebo effect involved when shopping at premium grocery stores like Whole Foods or Erewhon that makes people feel they are eating higher quality food.

“I think there is like that placebo effect to it though too like and same thing with Whole Foods like if you buy meat or something from Whole Foods not to say that it's not good but it's really not much different if you went to like Ralphs or something but mentally when you unwrap that that uh like t”

He thinks that grocery shopping at Erewhon is not a good value and that one could get more for their money at other stores.

“nothing's worth looking now by the way that ain't worth it if Trader Joe's is good a place that's Trader Joe is fantastic a place that's still gonna bang you but you'll get a little bit more bang for your buck”

He believes the grocery store Erewhon is significantly overpriced for items that can be found at other stores.

“it's nice but it's way overpriced it really is it's like it's like you could find items there that you'd find at other stores and just because it's everyone it's more expensive”

He suggests that using a digital kitchen scale is a valuable tool for accurately measuring food servings to maintain caloric control.

“I think it's incredibly valuable to have a kitchen scale. Um, and again, mine is out at all times. I weigh um egg whites when I pour it into my pan so that I can know how many egg whites I'm consuming.”
