Karl-Anthony Towns must exert more effort on the defensive end despite his offensive focus.

“Hey, listen. Where's the issue coming from? And you know, you know what you signed up for. I ain't saying he got to be this stopper. He ain't got to be go bear. But he got to have some interest on the defensive end, fellas. He can't just play offense.”

The New York Knicks should have expected Towns's current level of defensive effort given his history as a player.

“I think I think he definitely knew, you know, what he was trading for, what he what they was going to get out of Cat. Now I understand they want him to be more of an anchor, you know, for their defense, you know, because he he's the big guy. He the last line of defense.”
