“I know this has to be earned so when they start seeing people can I please go in I'll do anything and I worked really hard with a vocal coach and an acting coach to get ready”

The pressure-free environment of being a reader in an audition room is beneficial because it allows for a more natural and relaxed performance.

“it's what you were saying if it was kind of a perfect situation because I it wasn't an audition so I didn't really need to learn the lines which meant that the pressure was off so I kind of did yes and also I managed to remember them which was great cuz the pressure was off”

Auditioning is a soul-sucking and awful process that should be avoided if possible.

“Yes. Auditioning is awful. If there were a better way I'm sure someone would have thought of it, but it's soul-sucking. It's really rough.”

She views auditions as valuable opportunities to act and learn rather than just as tools for booking work.

“I really started to enjoy the audition at certain points yeah sometimes it's very hard of course but yeah just to think that the audition is the thing when it's an opportunity to act to learn”
