He experienced a significant identity crisis after retiring from the ring and having to shift from the Undertaker persona to being himself.

“once once I retired from the ring I had a little bit of a a time period there I was like all right who who the hell am I here right like it's like did you have identity crisis I I did somewhat have an identity crisis”

Self-worth is an internal ownership of value given at birth that should not be dependent on external achievements or failures.

“I realized worth is an inside job. Worth is not something that you earn. is something that you own. You've been given worth at birth. God told you that he set you apart. So no matter what I achieve or don't achieve, that's cool. I'm still worthy.”

He argues that minority youth often face an identity crisis because the school system promotes role models and histories that do not represent their own backgrounds.

“Growing up being Hispanic, we're taught what to think, not how to think. We're deprived of our identity as individuals. So we grow up in these hostile environments where you see robbing, killing, stealing, pimping and jugging.”
