The United States is the best hockey team in the world after their gold medal victory.

He expressed shock and disbelief regarding the widespread positive national reaction to Team USA's gold medal win in hockey.

“I am surprised, Mike, by the reaction. I'm usually surprised by major news events how big they get and I am surprised over the last 24 hours by the national reaction. I had no idea it would be this significant.”

The coaching and medical staff of Olympic hockey teams should be awarded gold medals alongside the players.

“Don't you guys think it's a little crazy I mean head coaches don't get gold medals the coaching staff doesn't get gold medals but these guys should all get gold medals. The trainers, the medical staff, every single person on the staff should get a gold medal.”

The coaching and medical staff deserve gold medals for their integral contribution to the team's success.

“I think if you're there and you're a part of it and you're listed on the staff or the team, you get a gold medal. No. Like that should”

The US Olympic hockey team made the most of their facilities in Milan and maintained a unified, positive mindset throughout the tournament.

“Locker room. Honest to God, there was 25 stalls. It was what it was. Uh there wasn't a changing room which we're used to guys come in with their street clothes, where do you put your stuff? So we just we modified the locker room. Uh there might be a video or two out there of how it looked, but we ha”

He believes the United States has the necessary depth to defeat Canada despite Canada having top-heavy talent.

“I think US has got the depth that Canada maybe doesn't have, but I mean, Canada's got a line with or with McDavid, McKinnon, and Celibbrini. So, I don't know, man. I'm just hoping for a great game. I want to see the US win gold finally.”

He predicts the United States will win if they play a clean game.

“It feels like it's going to be the US if they can just play a clean game. That's going to be their key thing the key thing for them today.”

He argues that international Olympic hockey is an event where the United States can authentically be a scrappy underdog against Canada.

“It's one of the rare sports that the the United States gets to be a scrappy underdog. They finally knocked Canada off the top of the mountain.”
