Cocaine addiction is a deceptive and dangerous condition because it is often socially normalized, highly addictive, and can ultimately lead to suicidal thoughts and severe physical harm.

“And I bought into that stigma. I bought in I bought into that stigma of like, hey, I can get high. I can I can do all this and I'm going to be okay.”

He believes his addiction was intertwined with his bipolar disorder and that the two conditions mutually intensified his reckless, pleasure-seeking behavior.

“I think either one would have made me crazy, but the two together, you know, just made me out of control basically with with my spending with my spending sprees.”
