From Inside the Lindsay Clancy Courtroom, Day 17 Attorney Bob Motta was in the gallery at Plymouth County Superior Court today. In this after-court live, he and Ali break down what actually happened in the courtroom. This one starts public, then we move into a members-only Q&A for the back half so members get their questions in front of us directly instead of fighting a live chat scroll. What makes this different from every other recap you’ll find: Bob is a practicing criminal defense attorney who sat through the day, not someone reading a wire report at 9pm. Ali is a criminal defense and family law attorney with 25 years in the courtroom. You get the read on why an objection got sustained, why a line of cross landed or died, and what the trial lawyers in that room were actually doing. We go live after court every trial day. Hit the bell so you know the second we’re on. New here? Lindsay Clancy is a Massachusetts nurse and mother charged in the deaths of her three children in Duxbury in January 2023. The defense case is that she was in the grip of postpartum psychosis, and that the medications she was prescribed and the care she received made her condition dramatically worse rather than better. The Commonwealth’s case is that she knew what she was doing. That is the fight, and it is being tried in front of a jury right now. #Lindsayclancy #lindsayclancytrial #mentalhealth
