She may be the only person to pop up in more homes every December than Father Christmas himself… it's the fabulous Keira Knightley! For this festive special, Nick and Angela are joined around the tree by actor, Christmas film icon and unknown to us, Angela’s former neighbour: Keira Knightley! With a career that includes Pride & Prejudice, Atonement, The Imitation Game and Black Doves, there’s plenty to cover… including the small matter of the iconic Love Actually. She joins us following her latest lead role... Opposite Joe Wilkinson in the Waitrose Christmas advert. We’ve heard his side of the story, but how does Keira reflect on the day they filmed ‘the big kiss’? Angela goes all out with a full Christmas feast, led by a fennel and citrus roast turkey at the centre of the table. It’s served with her famous turkey gravy, rosemary-salt roast potatoes, stir fried sprouts with chestnuts and pancetta, and a roast parsnip and grape salad with hazelnuts, chicory and Parmesan dressing that nearly steals the show! Glasses are topped up with No.1 Brut Special Reserve Vintage Champagne on arrival, before the meal is paired with a De Loach OFS California Chardonnay, chosen by the Waitrose wine experts.
