Today, I sit down with Jerrod Carmichael to talk about acceptance and self appreciation. Jerrod shares his experiences and thoughts on turning uncomfortable conversations into meaningful relationships, why being honest with yourself makes it easier to open up and connect with others, and dealing with shame in your most vulnerable state. Jerrod Carmichael is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer. Carmichael gained recognition for his unique comedic style and thought-provoking material that often explores social issues, race, and his own personal experiences. He rose to prominence through his stand-up comedy specials, including "Love at the Store" (2014) and "8" (2017), which aired on HBO. He has also appeared in films such as "Neighbors" (2014) and its sequel "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" (2016), as well as "Transformers: The Last Knight" (2017).
