His release date was originally set for August 2032. It's been revised three separate times since, and every revision pushed it later. It now sits at February 2, 2033. That's not what happens to a model prisoner quietly waiting out a sentence. Jurors at trial heard about the accountability software his wife was supposed to be using to monitor his activity, and the hidden operating system he built specifically to make that software blind. Two years of the safeguard telling him no, and a man who sat down and engineered the no away. Now add a motion filed in 2025, from inside a federal facility, with his own sisters named in it. What Josh Duggar asked a court to do with them is the reason this episode exists, and it is not something prison quiets a man into forgetting. Meanwhile in Florida, Joseph Duggar, thirty-one, is fighting two felony counts connected to what happened to a child during a 2020 family trip. He has pleaded not guilty. According to the arrest affidavit, he admitted what happened, first to the child's father and again to detectives on a call they were monitoring the entire time. His parents posted bond and he went home. The people who reported it were his own in-laws, the Caldwells, who did the one thing this family almost never does: they called the police.
