On June 16, 1990, 52-year-old Trevaline Evans disappeared without a trace from her antique shop in Llangollen, North Wales. She left behind her handbag, keys, and jacket — and a handwritten sign that read: “Back in two minutes.” Witnesses saw her walking through town that day with a mystery man in a navy suit, but she never returned. What happened in those final hours? Did Trevaline leave willingly, fall victim to a killer, or get caught in a decades-long cover-up? In this episode, Ashley Flowers and Brit Prawat revisit one of Britain’s strangest missing-person cases — from the exhaustive police searches across North Wales to shocking new evidence uncovered in 2019, when two brothers claimed to have found human remains beneath the Rhuddlan Golf Club, the same area linked to Trevaline’s husband, Richard Evans. The case has haunted investigators for 35 years, raising questions about love, lies, and the secrets small towns keep.
