We begin with the murder of Henry Nowak and the parallels Knowles draws with George Floyd, arguing that the media, political class, and police have embraced a distorted narrative on race that has fundamentally reshaped public institutions in Britain and America. We discuss BLM, affirmative action, policing, media bias, and whether Western societies now operate under a two-tier system of justice. The conversation then turns to free speech, following the UK government's decision to deny entry to Hasan Piker and Cenk Uygur. Knowles explains why he rejects free speech absolutism, why he believes societies must uphold moral and cultural standards, and whether some forms of speech are genuinely harmful to the public good. We also debate Christianity, nationalism, libertarianism, monopoly power, family, and the role of religion in public life. Knowles argues that the West's deepest crisis is not political but spiritual, and that liberalism, detached from its Christian foundations, has become increasingly incapable of defending truth, order, or civilisation itself. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our show is independently supported by you, consider signing up to our substack to get added benefits like ad-free and extended episodes here: https://www.winstonmarshall.co.uk/ -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
