“I think that the era of a particularly abusive kind of wokeness that permeated in particular academia and the arts starting in 2020. That era is past us. Wokeness is still very much in play in both of those institutions, but not in the nearly violent way that it was in the bad old days.”

Individual differences should be respected, and people should avoid getting caught up in the tribalism that fuels the culture war.
