How does the polarisation and conflict we are seeing relate to a fundamental division inside all of us in how we see the world? Are we in some sense at war with ourselves? Iain McGilchrist's book 'The Master and his Emissary' was a sensation. In it he drew a clear and compelling story of how the history of the western world was best viewed as a gradual takeover by the rational, logical left side of the brain, eclipsing the more holistic right brain. A film about his work will be released next year, 'The Divided Brain' - trailer here: https://vimeo.com/304915837 Rebel Wisdom is a platform for the biggest ideas around. http://www.rebelwisdom.co.uk/ Help us make more of these films and get access to excellent exclusive films for Patrons by supporting us on either Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/rebelwisdom Or Subscribestar: https://www.subscribestar.com/rebel-wisdom Find us on iTunes and Spotify, or visit rebelwisdom.podbean.com to download Rebel Wisdom as an audio podcast.
