My time in Australia with Tyson Yunkaporta changed my life forever. It’s impossible to fathom the depth of wisdom contained within an unbroken lineage of indigenous humans that stretches back into deep time of at least 60,000 years ago. Tyson explains how there in the ‘right way’ there is no separation between the individual and the collective spirit world, and the only time you claim yourself in separation is if you are going to get into a scrap with someone. And even that has collective rules. Everything from monogamy to magic is turned on it’s head from Western Culture in the traditions from down under, and it was my absolute honor to share time and space with this brother. But if you don’t want to listen to this podcast, you can learn everything you need to know by paying close enough attention to the ants. But I recommend starting with this podcast first! 0:00 - Introduction to the Conversation 3:42 - Living Between Two Worlds 5:41 - Urban vs. Bush Life 7:08 - The Concept of 'Us Too' and Connection 9:03 - Pronouns and Separation in Society 12:07 - Traditional Fighting Rituals and Rules 15:44 - A Personal Story of Conflict and Resolution 20:03 - The Importance of Conflict Resolution in Community 24:00 - Empire and the Suppression of the Feminine 30:00 - Hierarchy, Power, and Social Structures 35:11 - Empathy, Spirit, and the Mind Virus 40:56 - The Impact of Colonization on Indigenous Happiness 46:15 - The Story of Albino Boy and Sacred Sites 51:04 - Teleportation and the Power of Ancient Knowledge 56:01 - Nature as an Informatic System 1:02:06 - Time and Place as One Concept 1:07:01 - Deep Layers of Cities and Forgotten Histories 1:12:16 - Talking to the Land and Listening to Nature 1:14:10 - The Role of Spirit in Aboriginal Culture 1:19:45 - Training Ravens and the Power of Shared Knowledge 1:25:30 - Morphic Resonance and Collective Learning 1:32:45 - Indigenous Wisdom and Modern Science 1:38:20 - Human Connection with Nature and the Cosmos 1:45:10 - The Importance of Oral Traditions 1:51:35 - Preserving Ancient Knowledge in the Digital Age 2:00:25 - Lessons from Indigenous Cultures for Modern Society 2:08:40 - Final Reflections and Closing Thoughts Sand Talk by Tyson Yunkaportahttp://bit.ly/3WVa1BK | Aubrey Marcus | ► Fit For Service: https://fitforservice.com/ ► Own The Day, Own Your Life: http://bit.ly/2vRz4so ► Aubrey Marcus Podcast: https://apple.co/2ns8zFP ► Ayahuasca Documentary: http://bit.ly/2OrNBTf ► Get 10% off all Onnit Products: https://bit.ly/3LMVArK ►Aubrey Marcus Poetry: http://bit.ly/2My1ezC ►Aubrey Marcus Binaural Beats: http://bit.ly/2vVc3EC | Listen to the Aubrey Marcus Podcast | ►iTunes | https://apple.co/2lMZRCn ►Spotify | https://spoti.fi/2EaELZO ►Stitcher | http://bit.ly/2G8ccJt ►IHeartRadio | https://ihr.fm/3CiV4x3 ►Google Podcasts | https://bit.ly/3nzCJEh ►Android | https://bit.ly/2OQeBQg | Connect with Aubrey | ►Website | http://bit.ly/2GesYqi ►Instagram | http://bit.ly/2BlfCEO ►Facebook | http://bit.ly/2F4nBZk ►Twitter | http://bit.ly/2BlGBAdAd ============================================= About the Podcast Founder of Onnit and modern philosopher Aubrey Marcus asks the important questions: How do we find our purpose, wake up to who we truly are, have a few more laughs, and human being a little better?
