Robby Hoffman is a comedian, writer, actor, and one of the most original voices in comedy. This week, she joins Pete Holmes for a hilarious, honest, and completely unpredictable episode of You Made It Weird! Robby has had a huge run recently, appearing alongside Michelle Williams in Dying for Sex and earning an Emmy nomination for her performance on HBO’s Hacks. Before becoming known for her stand-up and acting, she also built an impressive career as a comedy writer, with credits including Workin’ Moms and The Chris Gethard Show. Her debut Netflix stand-up special, Robby Hoffman: Wake Up, is streaming now. Directed by John Mulaney, the special gives Robby an hour to do exactly what she does best: say what she thinks, complain about what everyone else accepts, and turn the frustrations of everyday life into brutally funny comedy. Robby also hosts Too Far with comedian Rachel Kaly, a podcast that gives the two of them plenty of room to argue, complain, overshare, and take conversations exactly as far as the title suggests. Pete and Robby get into comedy, relationships, growing up, success, insecurity, creativity, and the strange experience of finally getting the opportunities you spent years working toward. As you might expect with Robby, the conversation goes in directions nobody could have planned. Whether you discovered Robby through Hacks, Dying for Sex, Too Far, her stand-up, or you’re meeting her for the first time, this is a great introduction to one of the funniest and most distinctive voices in comedy. 📺 Watch Robby Hoffman: Wake Up on Netflix 🎙️ Listen to Too Far with Robby Hoffman and Rachel Kaly 🌐 Visit robbyhoffman.com for tour dates and more 📲 Follow Robby @robbyhoffman 🎧 Subscribe to You Made It Weird for new episodes every week. #RobbyHoffman #PeteHolmes #YouMadeItWeird #WakeUp #Hacks #DyingForSex #TooFar #NetflixComedy #StandUpComedy #ComedyPodcast ================================================ SUPPORT OUR SPONSORS Thank you VITA COCO for being our official ON SET BEVERAGE Get 25% off and get Vita Coco shipped to your door by using code WEIRD20 https://vitacoco.com CASPER GET 20% OFF YOUR ORDER http://casper.com 3 DAY BLINDS BUY ONE GET ONE FOR 50% OFF http://3dayblinds.com/weird QUINCE FREE SHIPPING & 365 DAY RETURNS http://quince.com/weirdo BETTER HELP GET 10% OFF YOUR 1ST MONTH http://betterhelp.com/weirdo
