At the Sandra Birchmore murder trial, Matthew Farwell's twin brother William took the stand with a grant of immunity from the government. Asked whether he was ever intimate with Sandra while on duty as a Stoughton officer, he answered, "I did." Sandra's medical examiner testified the police paperwork that reached her already framed the death as a suicide with no foul play. Prosecutors say her first ruling rested on misinformation, and Farwell's lawyers say federal prosecutors pressured her into changing it. In the Anna Kepner cruise ship case, Timothy Hudson has until January 15, 2027, to plead guilty or face a jury. His lawyers say one pending issue has to be resolved first. Bryan Kohberger checked "no" when his plea form asked if anyone coerced him, yet his petition claims his lawyers did exactly that. Defense attorney Bob Motta and retired FBI special agent Robin Dreeke join me to weigh which of these deals holds up.
