Mica Miller and JP Miller’s Solid Rock Church timeline started years before the federal cyberstalking case: JP stood at the altar and officiated Mica’s first wedding to Jeremy Deas. Mica had entered the Myrtle Beach church as a teenager, while JP was already its pastor and an authority figure in the community. That history matters because the relationship later moved through several layers of power. Mica became a worship leader and later worked for JP’s family. Public reporting and court records place JP in her life as pastor, mentor, employer and wedding officiant before the two married in November 2017. Federal prosecutors allege a very different chapter followed. A December 2025 indictment charges JP with cyberstalking and making false statements to investigators. Prosecutors allege that from November 2022 through April 27, 2024, he sent unwanted communications and caused tracking devices to be placed on Mica’s vehicle. They also allege interference with her finances and daily activities, tire damage and an intimate image posted without her consent. JP has pleaded not guilty and has not been charged in connection with Mica’s death. His case is set for the October 2026 federal trial term.
