police officer in a little town in Alaska was driving down an old abandoned mining road when he happened to look over to the side of the road, and he saw something shiny inside of a big gravel pit. The officer pulled over and walked over to the pit and looked down inside of it. And there at the bottom was something that he and the rest of his colleagues had been looking for for weeks. But as soon as he began scrambling down into the pit to take a closer look at this thing he found, a gun shot rang out. Then another, and another.
