Kelsi German believes that the local community has become fearful and different following the murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German.

“it's definitely not the same now now it's a lot scarier people don't leave their doors unlocked anymore or go outside without parents or go to the trails without supervision”

The initial press conference in this case was a calculated attempt by law enforcement to make the suspect uncomfortable rather than a sign of a breakthrough in the investigation.

“I think it was a calculated shot in the dark, but at that point they didn't really they I mean they were just trying to basically they got a profile saying, "Hey, if you confront the killer, he might make a mistake and trip himself up."”

The bridge at the crime scene served as a trap set by the killer for his victims.

“I think the bridge was his trap. whoever was going to cross the bridge that day was going to be the person or people he went after.”

The totality of the evidence, including Richard Allen's incriminating statements about a van and the ballistics testing, points to his guilt.

“In that confession he gets that detail that nobody else knows 100% correct and then I also think that people are a little too quick to dismiss the ballistics testing on the bullet”
