Darryl Seligman suggests that 'Oumuamua and other detected objects imply the existence of interstellar visitors that scientists have previously failed to notice due to their distinct characteristics.

“it made me think maybe there are just these other objects in the solar system that are doing the same thing it's just we had never noticed them before because how do you detect comets you see their cometary Tales right you don't see the non-gravitational accelerations which are actually dark Comet”

It is highly probable that more interstellar objects will pass through our solar system, as they likely have for eons.

“it's very likely that more of these style of objects are going to pass through our solar system they probably have been for eons ever since you know the solar system formed”

He maintains that interstellar objects such as 'Oumuamua exhibit anomalous behavior that differentiates them from standard asteroids or comets.

“Obviously, you know, if we will not seek the evidence, we will never find anything. And so I'm excited by the anomalies that, for example, the first interstellar object or MUA MUA showed it was changing its brightness every 8 hours by a factor of 10, meaning that it had a very extreme shape.”
