“I think the tour is a really unique chance just to thank our fans. Thank you guys for coming. Really appreciate you guys. So it's gonna be awesome to go thank them in person.”

Performing in a venue size that can be filled by one's own audience provides a powerful sense of accomplishment.

“I sat in that the Wilbur my first time I did a theater was a big moment really big moment and I wanted to say to someone hey we're killing it and I had no one there and I actually had a moment where I went so it's just me wow yeah”

Performing live helps creators understand that the internet is not the real world and provides a more positive, human connection than online interactions.

“it's definitely helped me to understand how the internet is not the real world and a lot of the people that appear in comment sections and this is the same for whether you're a content creator or not if you're just existing within comment sections and going wow the world seems really negative”

He expressed uncertainty and nervousness about the feasibility and enjoyment of touring, citing it as both an exciting opportunity and a potentially exhausting endeavor.

“I went from yeah this is a great idea to like holy [ __ ] this is [ __ ] terrifying and now especially we've just come back from traveling for about two and a half months I'm already [ __ ] naked from traveling”

He finds the process of live touring and managing an opener challenging because his personal habits are not particularly fun or social.

“My problem is of a hang I'm not like yeah I'm not fun like I would bring rine with me me and rine get along but like we're just both [ __ ] people right so like we're seeing to be like you know like I literally we just go to Dick Sporting Goods or Cabellas”

There is significant value in a band choosing to limit their touring schedule to maintain artistic focus and avoid over-exposure.

“there's a lot of power and saying no to things too you know not in the same city they would travel no yeah yeah you get that I was I I'm taking 9 months off in July because I was just at the [ __ ] the Yum Center it's like the [ __ ] Arena”
