He argues that players should be required to sit out for a year if they choose to transfer schools.

“if you ask a old timer like me to where if you transfer you have to sit out a year I know I agree”

He suggests implementing multi-year contracts or restrictions on transferring to create more commitment between college players and their universities.

“I kind of think that there should should be a commitment level from the player to the university that there isn't right now and I don't know if that means signing like term contracts like maybe it's like a two threeyear contract”

The Big 12's consolidation of pro days into a single event is a poor practice.

“Not having your own pro day. At least people will watch tomorrow. It's like 1:00. Nothing's really going on. It's perfect for a pro day. Yeah, it is a good time to schedule it. Yeah. What is the deal? That's why people care. It's just different in the Big 12, baby.”

Johnny Manziel believes the NCAA's previous prohibition on players profiting from their name, image, and likeness was predatory.

“I've always I've always felt that was predatory. I think my story and kind of what happened with me coming up in college definitely led us to where we are now with the NCA rules and stuff.”

He contends that the game is safer due to rule changes rather than softer, and that the talent remains highly competitive.

“The people who watch the game and enjoy football know that the game is different and the game is not softer. The game is safer because it needed to be safer. But these young men are still playing hard.”

He believes the current college football landscape has not become softer due to players earning money through name, image, and likeness deals.

“It's not getting softer. Y'all didn't watch the college football playoffs this year. They was They was whooping ass. They was getting physical.”

He has no interest in coaching at the college level due to a lack of time and patience for the role.

“No, sir. Everybody knows I want no part of coaching. I don't have the patience.”

She prioritizes having a supportive community as a key factor in choosing a college environment.

“I know the one thing that I've been missing out on was an environment of community and I know a m is going to bring me community”
