“know the idea that people are, you know, continuing to come to Chicago to visit us and yet somehow it's a hell hole and crimeridden and uh, you know, people are wearing flack jackets and um, and, you know, murders are happening right and left around you. It's ludicrous.”

“I believe that as I continue to put forth the vision that is transformative, of course it's going to be met with resistance. You know, yesterday we, you know, said our final farewell to Reverend Jackson, he was a true example of someone who understood his assignment in Chicago, right?”
