Josh believes that skydiving without an instructor is a worthwhile experience because it forces one to be present in the moment.

“it wasn't necessarily the skydiving it wasn't necessarily the community around Skyping skydiving that I like but you're weird with the skydiving though because the first time we jumped out you didn't have a parachute no I don't know you didn't have it you didn't have an instructor”

Fuhad believes that the prospect of dying due to malfunctioning parachutes is too terrifying to consider and he would rather not know it is happening.

“fam I couldn't pull one and let not deploy and then pull another and then spiral I don't I don't I'm letting go of the whole thing because I'm dying regardless I don't want to die disoriented”

James argues that skydiving is too intense and scary for him to ever attempt a solo jump.

“yo uh that ghost shot could never ever do a solo dive thing yeah I don't know why anyone would want to do it did I my mom would have to be paused strapped on me yeah you have to be car I couldn't I couldn't [ __ ] yeah that's intense man that's way too intense bro”

She expresses fear and unwillingness to participate in skydiving due to the inherent risks.

“I'm not jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. I'm so good. I'll do indoor skydiving.”
