It is unacceptable for schools to require teachers to monitor bathrooms for 45 minutes.

“Either way, this the thought of having to stay outside of or close to a middle school bathroom for 45 minutes. I would simply”

Teachers should be compensated for covering the classes of absent colleagues.

“cuz when I found out uh that other teachers in other states get paid to cover classes and in Mississippi you just cover classes for free. That pissed me off.”

New teachers should not take student behavior personally because it is often a developmental phase rather than a reflection of the teacher's efforts.

“you need to know that like you should know what's normal for your age group so you don't take it personal like it's normal like a fifth grader needs to move a lot”
