Jordan Peterson views the separation of church and state as a fundamental political and psychological necessity for distinguishing separate domains of existence.

“the idea that there's a clear distinction between those two and i believe that to be true for psychological reasons as well as political reasons and it's an extraordinarily notable statement in my estimation”

Mustafa Akyol considers the separation of church and state to be a blessing that has benefited humanity in the western tradition.

“i would totally agree with you that separation of church and state in the western tradition has been a blessing for humanity i mean west itself and the broader i think human story”

She claims that the government is erroneously disregarding the separation of church and state, which is a foundational principle of the United States.

“what I've had it with and is just it's making me insane is that everyone is acting like the separation of church and state does not exist.”

The integration of church and state is motivated by a desire for political power rather than true religious faith.

“There is a reason our constitution gave us a society where the church and state existed independent of each other. And anyone who is suggesting the two should co-mingle isn’t doing it because they love Jesus. They’re doing it because they love power and they’re acquiring it in his name.”

Christian nationalism and its influence on policy represent a danger that necessitates a firm, uncompromising stand to eradicate this extremist influence from politics.

“You're dealing with people who think that Democrats are literally demonic, that that women are ruining the country, and that they have a God-given right to take over. You can't negotiate with that. You can't compromise with that. You can only stand against it and eradicate it from politics.”
