The existing political systems in Britain and America are broken and provide significant room for a new, sensible, and socially savvy center ground party.

“And I think there is so much room to try to rebuild a sensible, exciting, good humored, active, socially media savvy center ground. We need independent parties in and and and you think in the UK that would be somebody who has beautiful ears to refer back to your book.”

The political environment is currently ripe for a significant independent candidate or ticket in the near future.

“I have never seen a moment this ripe. So I don't know that it's going to happen in 2028, but it might.”

A third party is necessary to provide real dynamism and responsiveness because the two-party system is unlikely to deliver substantial change.

“it forces folks to start looking at third parties. It's the only way to have any real dynamism or responsiveness in the system.”

The two-party system is failing to meet needs, and people should take third-party candidates more seriously to avoid repeating this cycle.

“We'll never end up getting a another person outside of this two-party fold, this two-party recipe if we don't if we don't start looking at these other parties and taking them more seriously.”

The current Republican Party is not a viable political party because it does not act for the good of the American people and instead seeks to destroy the government.

“In the United States of America, we now have the Republican Party as it used to be no longer exists. And in its place, we have a political group that is not really a viable political party. That is it is not acting for the good of the American people.”

The Labour and Conservative parties are both effectively finished as viable political forces.

“I think that you know when you've only got what 34% of people who would still vote Labor and Conservative, they're done. They're both cursed.”

The Labour Party is functionally finished as a political party.

“I think it's way more existential for the Labour party. I think they're functionally finished as a as a party.”

The two-party system is entrenched in the United States, making it impossible to achieve meaningful political change simply by voting.

“I'm not saying that we don't need a third party, but voting seems to not get us anywhere. That's my biggest thing.”

Third-party movements in the United States consistently fail because the system is designed to maintain the two-party status quo.

“Third parties have never worked. So, he can have fun with it, but uh I think it's ridiculous.”
