President Trump has operated as if the United States does not have a Constitution, creating space for an authoritarian system.

“And that's a little bit of a different thing because if we don't have one at all, that suggests we have the the space for the rise of an authoritarian dictator.”

The Constitutional Convention was a human experience involving regular people in everyday activities like watching street performers during breaks.

“It totally takes the constitutional convention down to the fact that it was like a bunch of guys in a room figuring things out and then like we're going for a break. We're going to hey look there's a performing monkey. I just love that story.”

The United States military should not be used for domestic law enforcement roles.

“our US military is not trained in law enforcement roles I think you know that right we've seen how that mission is difficult for them in places like Iraq and Afghanistan because that's not the training a uniform military comes with”

Stephen A. Smith asserts that the 22nd Amendment of the US Constitution explicitly forbids anyone from serving more than two presidential terms.

“He's going to win the election in 2028 when the 22nd amendment clearly states no one shall serve more than two terms.”

Steve Bannon believes the US Constitution is open to interpretation and that legal workarounds exist to allow Donald Trump to serve more than two terms.

“So, the Constitution is open for interpretation. I have never said and the people I'm working with have never said we're trying to amend the constitution. We think that there are a number of legal workarounds of that”

The 14th Amendment's citizenship clause requires 'subject to the jurisdiction thereof' to mean more than just physical presence, specifically excluding children of foreign nationals.

“In addition to being born or naturalized in the United States in order to become a citizen, a child must be subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. So, what does that mean exactly? Well, one clue is that elsewhere in the Constitution, the equal protection clause applies”
