James Fishback believes that Florida should implement a $50,000 property transaction tax for out-of-state buyers to address local housing unaffordability.

He believes the model for success in Florida is identifying and defeating the left in institutions through bold, proactive leadership that yields tangible results.

“I think what we've shown in Florida and I think we've done a better job here than any Republican in the country in my lifetime is is doing this. Is identifying the pathologies of the left, isolating that and defeating the left in institution after institution on issue after issue.”

He believes that partisan labeling in municipal elections is detrimental and lacks substance.

“I really do like a partisan race and I I don't like the toxicity that and tribalism that seeps in to races when they get partisan.”
