Driving an F1 car is a difficult task because there are very few elite drivers.

“I know quite a lot about F1. At least I think I do. I play the games. I've watched the cars race around the tracks. Um, the key thing here is F1 drivers are pretty elite. There's not many of them, so it should be pretty easy today. Cuz in F1 there's like limited drivers.”

Formula 1 tires are designed to degrade and leave a layer of rubber on the track to increase friction for subsequent laps.

“formula one is totally based on that those tires are designed to degrade they're designed to leave tiny thin layers of rubber on the track because that increases the grip for the next time you go around the track”

The rapid decision-making required in Formula 1 racing serves as an excellent model for how quarterbacks should process information on the field.

“I don't know if you've ever watched on uh if I can mention the network ESPN they do Formula 1 you know with the camera right over the driver's shoulder that's really good for a quarterback to watch because that's how fast you got to play”

Formula 1 is a special and demanding sport because of its unique mix of physical, cognitive, and social challenges.

“I thought that no one could do a better job explaining some of the ins and outs of it the way Luke could and he does a really great job of that again you can come into this without having ever watched a Formula One race or finding any interest in it and I think you're gonna come away from this think”

Formula 1 should prioritize the fundamental racing experience over the pursuit of sponsorship and partnerships.

“If you're ultimately only concerned with getting money from partners um and sponsorships, you're going to lose sight of what is really the fundamental magic of Formula 1, which is the racing.”
