“And that's something that I think a lot of people don't really take into consideration is the exit has to be just as good if not better as the entry.”

Success in the rut comes from trusting core principles like hunting travel corridors, pinch points, and areas near doe bedding with safe wind, rather than overcomplicating strategies.

“I think that that on the tactical side, you know, key things here would be trusting those pillars of the rut, not over complicating things, trusting in funnels and pinch points and travel corridors, trusting in dough betting areas and putting in the time in those places.”

A hunter should place a decoy near a mock scrape in a way that forces an approaching buck to move closer to the hunter to inspect it.

“So, I'll put that buck to not too far from that Mox Crate because I'm getting a ton of inventory and trail cam pictures around that spot. And I feel like that's a spot where if a buck that um hadn't been in the area before just popped up at, it would look pretty normal”

A hunter should always carry extra cameras to deploy on fresh sign found while in the field for passive intelligence gathering.

“What I mean by that is if you find hot sign, you find a scrape that you have not seen before, uh maybe it's in a bottom, maybe it's on an edge of bedding, uh maybe it's on a field edge, I'm telling you that is going to be a key place for intel throughout the month of November”
