Scott Woodward was a highly effective athletic director who cared deeply about the university and acted in the institution's best interest.

You know, there's boosters that that would give us nice things and and that's life. And and you know what, at the end of the day, we we should have got those things cuz no”

Penny Hardaway believes that modern college sports recruiting has shifted from relationship-building to a bidding war centered on name, image, and likeness (NIL) payments.

“Now, it's how much money do you have before we even start talking? I'm not going to visit you unless you start at this number. That type of situation.”
