Bobby Lee believes that performing live comedy is a learned skill that becomes ingrained like riding a bike.

“it's like oddly impossible when you first start doing it you're like why am I falling like I know how to not fall what the [ __ ] am I doing and then something flips something weird flips where you gain so much confidence in learning how to how to be on your edges that you're like oh that's okay I'm”

He thinks that when a show is rescheduled, it is common for many ticket holders to not show up to the new date.

“People buy tickets that don't show up all the time. >> I know, but what happened was um this is a date a year ago. I never just showed up. I just didn't show up. >> You rescheduled it. >> Yeah. So, it was rescheduled. So, all the tickets from that >> ah >> transferred over this. Right. So, like a lo”

Tony Hinchcliffe considers the upcoming comedy tour dates in October to be a return to his regular performance schedule.

“now that's my normal schedule is every weekend so that's very exciting that hopefully in October I'll be back to that”

Performing comedy in Middle Eastern countries is similar to performing in Europe because the audiences there are educated in America and familiar with Western culture.

“Honestly, they're all educated in America. It's like more similar to doing like you've done Europe, right? Yeah. And you know how like there's they're like aware of but they also have their own TV shows. So like they they're also not aware. Yeah. Whereas in the Middle East like they get all of our”

A comedian must keep experiencing adversity to maintain their level of humor and interest.

“The whole deal with being funny is you have to keep having adversity. You have to keep, you know, and I see I always worried. I was like, am I gonna get less funny? Like, I have to make sure I stay funny.”

He believes the best way to maintain comedic skill is to mix club appearances with large arena shows to avoid getting stuck in a single performance headspace.

“I think that's the best way to actually do standup I agree because if you get stuck in the arena head space and you go into a club you uh it throws you off”

When a comedy show is significantly delayed, clubs should offer transparency rather than leaving performers waiting in green rooms without updates.

“TELL ME THE show is starting 20 minutes late cuz the hotel's 300 ft away. So, I could have been beating off with a bar of soap in my ass until 7:20 instead of 6:50.”
