Living in the ghetto often forces people to become actors in their daily lives to survive and hide their true struggles.

“Black people been acting acting like we ain't hurt. Acting like we ain't hungry. Acting like we got money when we don't. Black [ __ ] been actors all we had to act our whole life to survive”

It is necessary to transition from criminal connections to intellectual connections to achieve true progress.

“Some of these dudes, a lot of these dudes, we have criminal connections. We don't have no intellectual connections. Our connection of childhood was based off of criminal activities.”
