“I think as they're structured right now in the United States, it's a huge mistake. It has a potential to be a catastrophe.”

She supports the concept of bringing manufacturing back to the U.S. but is skeptical about whether it is feasible given the lack of desire for factory work among younger generations.

“The point is the idea of bringing production back to America. I am all for this. But is there a less painful way to do it? Because if that did happen immediately, people would only really need those new production jobs to pay for the products that are now more expensive because of the tariffs.”
