The failure of authorities to properly interview students and their lack of transparency is highly questionable and incompetent.

“Why wouldn't you just go to all students who take the class door by door and interview all of them? Why is it like, "Gee, I don't know."”

The level of incompetence displayed by local police and authorities in their investigation is alarming and likely stems from a vacuum of transparency.

“When you see police incompetence on this level, it really is it's alarming.”

Brown University is failing to be transparent about the investigation and is attempting to suppress information regarding the suspect.

“The question isn't what are the police looking at. The question is why is Brown University removing references to a student who may or may not be implicated in this. We don't know cuz Brown won't tell us anything. He certainly he or they or them or I don't know what it is.”
