He argues that colorblindness is a viable and moral principle for governing a diverse society and should be prioritized over race-based policy.

“we should try our very best to treat people without regard to race in most cases and uh that's really losing sight of that even as a goal”

Racial gamification is an harmful phenomenon where students are encouraged to manipulate or perform their racial identity and personal trauma to navigate admissions processes.

“what I call racial gamification is just this idea that um we are encouraged to see our identities as either a opportunity lubricant or a source of opportunity friction”

Black individuals are empowered by embracing their identity despite historical dehumanization attempts.

“If I embrace my blackness, if I embrace embrace my identity, you told us that because we're black, we're evil, we're rebellious. This just off of our skin color alone. We're ignorant, we're rebellious, we're we're uncivilized.”
