The England team must stop relying solely on Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham and get contributions from other players, especially those in wide positions.

“And listen, we can't keep relying on Harry Kane and Drew Bellham in the later stages of these games. Everyone else needs to start chipping in at the moment. And we're not getting that from our wide players, especially. I think they've been a big disappointment in this World Cup.”

The performance against DR Congo was one of the worst England displays in recent history.

“I look at it and I always want to be in the camp of a half full glass, but I think that performance ranks up there for periods of the game as one of the most abject England performances that we've seen for some time.”
