Staley believes it is essential to include everyone who has influence over a player in the communication process to ensure a shared vision for success.

“I want everybody that has your ear a part of this a part of a part of what we're trying to do because ultimately we're trying to do the same things all of us all of us in the room where we want you to be successful”

He believes a franchise quarterback must remain present and involved with the team even when they are unable to play due to injury to help facilitate success.

“that's part of the job of being the quarterback head of the franchise whatever you want to call it uh whether you're out there or not I think you have to be present and make sure that the team can continue to succeed without you and also that was more so for me still being around the guys still you ”

He believes that the most important element of leadership in sports or business is the relationships and bonds formed with teammates.

“cuz those are the most important things whether you're a businessman, whether you're a football player, QB, the relationship and bond that you have your with your guys is is most important.”

Micah Parsons believes that true leadership involves holding teammates accountable for their intensity and production.

“I think I stepped into that role now just willingly just saying like y'all gotta come every day to outwork me I told the guys in the room I said bro I said right now at this point we need money on the table like I said respectfully I'm trying to beat the hell out of you Dlow every day”

A leader should encourage teammates to be themselves, celebrate with one another, and maintain a positive attitude.

“Braves difference is like he wants you to be your own person. He wants you to make plays. He wants you to be excited. He wants you to celebrate with your teammates.”

The current England center-backs lack the elite leadership and organizational capabilities required for the position.

“I think it's also exacerbated and compounded by the lack of leadership amongst the two central defenders because I think Ghee whilst being a very good player is in this sort of space where he's been transferred from Crystal Palace to Manchester City. He's not quite assumed the role of an elite defen”

He believes that experiencing professional setbacks provides valuable learning opportunities that make a leader better equipped for future challenges.

“I also think like scars are not like necessarily the worst thing. You learn a lot from from some of those things that you go through in life and then you bounce back and you're better off when you get the next opportunity because of the mistakes that you made.”
