He believes the federal sentencing guidelines often produce lengthy terms for crimes like wire fraud or embezzlement, even when the defendant pleads guilty.

“Three years seems to be like the 36 months seems to be what a lot of these guys if they'll just plead guilty they give them like three years.”

He advocates for the position that 18-year-old offenders who commit serious crimes should not necessarily be permanently excluded from the possibility of release.

“So, sorry. I'm just I'm just I'm I'm also thinking about the Supreme Court where they where these kids are like you're 18 years old and you do something horrific and then they never have the possibility to get out of prison. It's like he's 18. I get it. What he did was horrible, but he's 18.”
