COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions have caused unnecessary economic harm and prioritize government control over quality of life.

“it's like uh yeah we're defending our democracy mean in the meanwhile you can't go to the gym and apparently you can't buy alcohol before Thanksgiving in Pennsylvania I mean dude it's getting [ __ ] weird”

“and having government say hey leave the masks on another month until we actually get the vaccines into arms and then take them off which is what um is the much more i think safer thing to do”

Gavin Newsom argues that he implemented aggressive COVID-19 restrictions to protect lives and that an objective review of these policies is forthcoming.

“Florida shut down their bars and restaurants before California. Before California. The question was when did we start to unwind some of those restrictions? California was more restrictive, and we were certainly aggressive at scale.”
