“So as a agent I can tell you bro the fees are too much. You know what I mean? Be a little bit more considerate for the promoters when you're going have to pay the booking fee, the fe the um airplane the flights rather the hotel, the piums, transportation, security.”

“for the young artists a lot of times they be needing a guidance for older artists it'd be like mmm I make all the money myself about the [ __ ] would I be giving you 15 20 percent”

Mase asserts that he was not adequately compensated or respected during his time at Bad Boy, which led to his frustration and eventual departure.

“I never got paid what I was worth. And I never got the respect I was worth. So the disdain that I got for Puff is more like you trying to keep me here, [ __ ] I'm not here. All my peers is up here.”

“I got a label deal. We don't really make money off of music if we locked in the house all day. So, I wasn't really concerned about putting music out to the people that don't really benefit off. Right. Yeah. I I I ventured off in the business. I doing fanatics moves, lids moves.”

“in my mind, you know, I'm thinking about generational wealth. Even back then, I'm thinking about my kids, my grandkids. So, I understood that in order for them to keep eating, I had to own my masters, you know what I mean?”
