He claims that choosing to leave gang life and independent self-sufficiency is a more successful path than participating in gang activities.

Swifty Blue believes that people involved in the street life should refrain from being in that cycle because there is no longevity and it ultimately leads to violence.

“You got to get out. You got to you got to get out of that that that that little cycle. You got to break it one way or another because it's not there's no longevity in it.”

He believes the current gang culture is detrimental and tries to dissuade youth from participating in it.

“I'm trying to teach kids now, like, bro, you ain't got to dress like that. You ain't got to act like that. You ain't got to talk like that.”

Chyna Brim asserts that street life is a destructive path and that rappers who have achieved wealth should be supported for discouraging young people from following that lifestyle.

“Me personally, I feel like these guys are right. And I feel like if we don't start somewhere, it's going to continue to happen.”

Harlem Legend contends that street life offers no long-term benefits and encourages young people to leave that lifestyle behind to seek legal employment.

“Get off your ass. Go get a job. The streets don't hold you. And if you go to the streets, you will be disappointed.”

Wack100 argues that revealing information about others involved in a crime to law enforcement is a violation of street rules, regardless of the legal context.

“Anytime you give any information up on anybody else other than yourself, you're telling.”

Being a legitimate street figure includes the experience of serving time in prison without turning into an informant.

“If you going to be a street [ __ ] while jail was a part of that, right? Because I ain't saying just growing up in the hood, jail is a part of if you going to be a gangster, a hitter, a real street [ __ ] jail is actually a part of that. You got to go through that stage.”
