Dan Harmon writer, producer, and co-creator of Rick and Morty and creator of Community joins Pete Holmes for a hilarious, thoughtful, and appropriately weird episode of You Made It Weird. Dan has spent his career creating some of the most distinctive comedy on television, from the cult phenomenon Community to the massive animated universe of Rick and Morty. He and Pete get into writing, creativity, comedy, storytelling, success, failure, and the strange psychology behind trying to turn the ideas in your head into something other people actually want to watch. Dan also talks about his brand-new animated series President Curtis, co-created with James Siciliano and set in the Rick and Morty universe. The series follows President Andre Curtis voiced by the legendary Keith David and his eccentric White House team as they deal with everything from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal investigations and the kinds of bizarre crises Rick Sanchez can't be bothered to handle. With Stephanie Beatriz and Dan's Community collaborator Jim Rash joining Keith David in the voice cast, President Curtis expands the Rick and Morty universe while creating a completely new world of its own. Whether you're a longtime Community fan, obsessed with Rick and Morty, fascinated by Dan's approach to storytelling, or just love hearing two incredibly creative people get weird together, this one's for you. 📺 Watch President Curtis on Adult Swim and stream it on HBO Max 🛸 Watch Rick and Morty 🎓 Rewatch Community 🎧 Subscribe to You Made It Weird for new episodes every week. #DanHarmon #PeteHolmes #YouMadeItWeird #RickAndMorty #PresidentCurtis #Community #HBOMax #AdultSwim #ComedyPodcast #DanHarmonInterview ================================================================ SUPPORT OUR SPONSORS Thank you VITA COCO for being our official ON SET BEVERAGE Get 25% off and get Vita Coco shipped to your door by using code WEIRD20 https://vitacoco.com QUINCE FREE SHIPPING & 365 DAY RETURNS http://quince.com/weirdo CASPER GET 20% OFF YOUR ORDER http://casper.com BETTER HELP GET 10% OFF YOUR 1ST MONTH http://betterhelp.com/weirdo
