On this exclusive episode of Have a Seat with Chris Hansen, Chris talks with Ashley Cole, investigator with the Cartersville, GA Police Department regarding her investigation into Josh Stapleton. Josh Stapleton was arrested for downloading and sending child sexual abusive material (CSAM) from 2018-2020 that would lead to him pleading guilty to 20 counts of sexual exploitation of children. Cole reveals the disturbing details of the images she found on Stapleton’s phone and personal electronics; her opinion on what she considers a light 5-year sentence for possessing thousands of graphic image of children; and her honest thoughts on Brittani Stapleton making money off their “Gulfcoast Stapleton’s” social media channels. Hansen and Cole also speak about the emotional and physical toll working this case and having to view such terrible images took on her and her family.
