Comedian, writer, and all‑around creative spirit Max Silvestri joins Pete Holmes this week for a wide-ranging conversation that covers the grind of stand‑up comedy, the blur between writing and performing, and the surprising turns a career can take. Max opens up about launching his brand‑new podcast I Need You Guys, co‑hosted with longtime pals, as a way to bring real talk and vulnerability back into the comedy space. He also talks about his role behind the scenes on the new HBO series I Love LA — a project that marks a major milestone in his career, bridging stand‑up roots with television production and writing. Together, they reflect on creativity, reinvention, the highs and lows of show business, and the messy process of chasing what feels real. 🎙️ Check out I Need You Guys, and catch I Love LA on HBO 📲 Follow Max @maxsilvestri on socials 🎧 Subscribe for more deep, weird, and hilarious conversations #MaxSilvestri #YouMadeItWeird #ComedyPodcast #INeedYouGuys #ILoveLA #HBO #StandUpComedy #ComedyWriter #PodcastLaunch #BehindTheScenes ======================================================== SUPPORT OUR SPONSORS Thank you VITA COCO for being our official ON SET BEVERAGE Get 25% off and get Vita Coco shipped to your door by using code WEIRD20 https://vitacoco.com DUPE STOP OVERPAYING FOR A NAME TRY DUPE TODAY! https://dupe.com KACHAVA USE PROMO CODE: WEIRDO GET 15% OFF YOUR ORDER http://kachava.com DAD GRASS USE PROMO CODE: WEIRD GET 20% OFF YOUR ORDER http://dadgrass.com/weird APOLLO NEURO GET $90 OFF YOUR ORDER! https://apolloneuro.com/weird
