In Why Design Matters: Conversations with the World’s Most Creative People, Debbie Millman—author, educator, brand consultant, and host of the award-winning podcast Design Matters—showcases dozens of her most exciting interviews. To mark the publication of the illustrated anthology, Millman sits for a conversation with Roxane Gay. Their conversation will be followed by a discussion with special guests: poet and memoirist Saeed Jones (How We Fight For Our Lives) and writer and artist Chanel Miller (Know My Name). “Debbie Millman is one of the finest interviewers working today,” writes Gay. “She is, indeed, my wife, so you would expect me to believe in her unparalleled interviewing ability, but it also happens to be the truth. Over the past sixteen years, the Design Matters project has expanded as her skill has sharpened. She has created a gloriously interesting and ongoing conversation about what it means to live well, overcome trauma, face rejection, learn to love and be loved, and thrive both personally and professionally.” Subscribe for more videos like this: http://bit.ly/1GpwawV Facebook: http://facebook.com/92ndStreetY Instagram: http://Instagram.com/92ndStreetY Twitter: https://twitter.com/92Y Tumblr: http://92y.tumblr.com/ Archives: http://www.92y.org/archives
