Lindsay Clancy's jury has been stuck for days, and someone thought that was the perfect moment to point a phone at them on their way out of court. A woman was arrested outside Plymouth Superior Court, accused of secretly filming jurors as they left — deleted footage of the panel was recovered from her phone. Judge Sullivan had to pull each juror aside individually just to confirm deliberations could continue. This is happening inside one of the most agonizing jury deliberations Massachusetts has seen in years. Eighty witnesses. Five weeks of testimony. More than three hundred exhibits. Prosecution psychiatrists say Lindsay Clancy wasn't psychotic when her three children died. Defense psychiatrists say she was. The defense has already conceded the physical evidence — the exercise bands, the DNA, all of it. The only fight left is over her state of mind, and twelve jurors with zero psychiatric training are the ones who have to settle it. When the panel told the judge they couldn't agree, Sullivan read them the Tuey-Rodriguez charge — Massachusetts' version of telling a jury this is as good as it gets, go back and try again. They went back. They're still stuck. And now they've been secretly recorded on top of it. If this jury hangs, Lindsay Clancy isn't acquitted and she isn't convicted.
