Eric Faddis, defense attorney and former prosecutor, joins me on the Caleb Flynn murder trial and the unsealed Bryan Kohberger memo. In Ohio, Flynn's former girlfriend Alleigha Botner testified that he talked about wanting his wife Ashley dead at least once a month, and she read the jury his two-word reply when she asked, "What can I do?" She walked jurors through Valentine's weekend 2026, when Flynn promised her "actions will come tomorrow" hours before Ashley was shot twice in the head in her bed. Botner also admitted she sent Flynn ChatGPT screenshots on deleting their messages that night, and that she lied to the FBI. Flynn has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder. In Idaho, a sealed May 2025 memo shows Kohberger's lawyers told the judge he was struggling to rationally understand his case. Six days after the judge denied them more time, he pleaded guilty, and his new lawyer wants that plea thrown out.
